Recreational Gymnastics & Specialty Programs

Gymnastics is a beautiful and powerful sport. It’s hard not to see the awesome physical benefits children gain from gymnastics training: power, balance, agility, and grace. It’s also hard to miss the benefits to the mind: perseverance, poise, confidence, attention to detail, and concentration. In fact, gymnastics helps children learn how to be the best they can be in life. One of the greatest advantages are the relationships your child will build with other students and instructors.

Mismo’s Team Program provides the opportunity for gymnasts to take their experience to a competitive level. The hard-work team-work philosophies of our team program flow smoothly from those of other Mismo programs. The team competes at local, state, regional, and national levels, and the gymnasts range from ages 5 to 18. The goal of this program is for every gymnast to reach their individual potential through competitive gymnastics. The Mismo competitive boys and girls teams follow the USA Gymnastics Jr. Olympic Program. Participation is open to all; level placement is based on evaluation.
