March 1st, 2010 - Connected Platforms, Inc. Acquires Emery Computers of Missoula, Montana
This acquisition is in line with Connected Platforms' growth strategy to provide best in class information technology services to clients across the Northwest. With this acquisition, Connected Platforms strengthens its ability to service small to medium-sized companies, as well as public agencies and local school districts, with the management of their information technology needs.
Since 1984, Emery Computers' team has been providing computer support, hardware, software and managed IT services for a large number of small to mid-sized businesses, both private and public, in the Missoula and surrounding area. Focusing on hardware configuration and purchasing, Emery Computer has built a client base of hundreds companies providing these clients with hardware integration, technical support and on-going maintenance.
President Ken DeCosta from Emery Computer Center, states When considering retirement, one of my major concerns was what would happen to our excellent customers and employees. Would customer satisfaction be the ultimate goal of the new management? Would the welfare of our dedicated employees, who are core of the company, be protected? After meeting with the principals of Connected Platforms and reviewing their structure, I soon determined that the future of both our customers and employees would be in very good hands.
