HEALTH SAVINGS ACCOUNTS
If you are covered by a high deductible health plan, you may be eligible to open a Health Savings Account (HSA) that allows for payment of qualified medical expenses on a tax-free basis. There are several benefits to opening and funding a HSA before year end to help maximize your tax savings. Please visit with a bank employee for further information on our new HSA product.

TRANSACTION ACCOUNT GUARANTEE PROGRAM
Beginning January 1, 2010 Ruby Valley National Bank will no longer participate in the FDIC's Transaction Account Guarantee Program. Thus, after December 31, 2009, funds held in noninterest-bearing transaction accounts will no longer be guaranteed in full under the Transaction Account Guarantee Program, but will be insured up to $250,000 under the FDIC's general deposit insurance rules.
