I highly recommend to anyone considering Mary Anne that you ask the doulas in town first. They have worked with her and because of their opinion, I stopped using Mary Anne. Midwives in the surrounding area and even as far away as Oregon have heard bad things about her. Use at your own risk.

Mary Anne is a wonderful midwife and I had a beautiful home birth experience with her. She is kind, compassionate, and knowledgeable. I felt safe and assured the whole time. I know many who have also seen her and they are all happy with their experience. I think it's pretty asinine to write a poor review based on what others have told you when you never had an even an appointment. Home birth is hard work and you have to be willing to do the work yourself. That's what it is all about.
