"I find Chi-Tu Do to be an incredible, worth-while experience for my son. He has really felt a connection to the uniqueness of this art and the friendships and the camaraderie with it. And he has wanted to come back and he has loved it. I love the aspect that it is a Christian-based program. I have seen a lot of growth in my son, not just at home, but at school too. It has been a great learning tool." Robin, mother of 11 year old Blue belt, Rece

Godly parents want the best for their children, but how do you prepare them for the challenges they face in today's world? How do you teach them the motivation, discipline and proper attitude necessary for success?
It's not an easy task! This type of education is not found in our public schools. It's not found on our soccer or little league fields. It's not even found in our community organizations and in many cases our churches... and that's really a shame. In fact, it's a crime because teaching children the basic biblical traits like discipline, self-control, goal setting, and motivation at a young age, can have a massive impact on what that child accomplishes for the Kingdom of God in later life.
As I write this note, I am drinking hot tea from a very special mug. It's a "Super Hero" mug that was given to me as a gift several years ago by a young boy in one of our Chi-Tu Do academies. This student was a good kid but a little shy and withdrawn. He lacked self-confidence and focus, perhaps because he was a little slower and a little smaller than most of the other boys in his class. His mother, an elementary school teacher and widowed mother, was doing her best to help her son with his grades and fill in the emptiness created by her husband's untimely death. However, nothing seemed to work until she enrolled him in Chi-Tu Do.
At first this young boy's progress was slow. His attention span was weak, his coordination was poor, and he lacked motivation, self-discipline and control. In fact, it was quite evident that he didn't even want to be in class. Even so, our dedicated coaching staff kept working with him, his mother required him to attend, and each week there was marked improvement in his behavior. Within about five weeks, he was awarded his first new belt signifying progress. Immediately, this student's confidence started to improve. He started to raise his hand and ask questions. His focus and concentration were also improving.
His mother shared that his homework grades (now that he was actually completing the work!) were showing incredible improvement. As the weeks went by his attitude, self-control, discipline, and motivation increased until finally THE day arrived. Mom walked into class with her son and with tears in her eyes. She asked me to stand by her son for a picture of him with his latest report card. This spiritually transformed student stood beaming at the camera with his first "A" ever. Later, they gave me the "Super Hero" mug as a special thank you. But it wasn't just his grades that had improved, it was his entire life! This boy, who had rededicated his life to Christ during an in-class devotional, had become serious about serving and honoring the Lord and it was being demonstrated in all aspects of his life.
Over the years, I have seen hundreds of children benefit from our unique Christian martial arts ministry.

Overweight kids who lost a few pounds through self discipline and exercise only to gain massive amounts of self confidence and leadership skills.
Academically gifted students, bored with school, who learned to set goals and reach higher while becoming involved in mentoring initiatives.
Hyper active kids who learned how to focus and channel their energy in a more positive direction
And shy children who were brought out of their shell and learned not only how to protect themselves, but also how to help others who were suffering at the hands of a bully!

All these children and the hundreds of others who have experienced the benefits of Chi-Tu Do have gained a foundation in the basic biblical tools of success that will last them a lifetime. Much like learning to ride a bike or learning to swim, once the skills of success and achievement are introduced to your children they never go away. The pay off just keeps going for the rest of their lives; lives filled with respect, honor, discipline, and proud moments of achievement backed by good health and biblical joy.
Where do children learn such wonderful tools? All things do begin at home, but if you would allow Billings Chi-Tu Do to reinforce the Bible's authority in your child's life we can partner in developing your childs character so that they would become a beneficial member of their family and community, and a positive influence on their friends. Allow Billings Chi-Tu Do to assist you through our ministry's three fold mission of helping your child reach new heights of Physical Development, Mental Discipline, and Spiritual Discipleship.

As a parent of two children, I feel that one of my strongest responsibilities is to empower my children through biblical education, training, and character development. Christian principles of self-control, service to others, confidence, compassion, persistence, and the self discipline to succeed in school, in athletics and in life are incorporated into every aspect of the Chi-Tu Do curriculum.
While the more traditional aspects of martial arts such as respect, self-defense, patience, perseverance and integrity are certainly important in today's world, the most important aspect of our curriculum is not so much the physical or mental component, but rather the spiritual development of Bible-Centric living.
Training in Chi-Tu Do will arm your child for the future with all the key biblical traits of Christ-like character.

The Chi-Tu Do Coaching Staff is dedicated to developing your child's confidence, self-control, perseverance, as well as service to and compassion for others as taught by the Bible.

While we wish it were not true, the fact remains that we live in a world full of selfish and sinful people. Chi-Tu Do will teach your child how to spot and avoid danger, what to do in an emergency, and, if necessary, how protect themselves from personal attack. These invaluable skills will not only increase confidence in your child but, may even save their lives.

The Chi-Tu Do Coaching Staff is dedicated to creating an atmosphere where your children will have FUN while they learn! By the way, Martial Arts are not just for children. They are for adults too! Please feel free to come in and try a class yourself. In addition to all the benefits that I have already mentioned, it's a great way to stay in shape, lose weight and relieve stress.
Here is what some of the parents of our students have to say about the program:
A lot of his teachers remark about how much respect he has for them and how he responds to adult authority. And thats a really important aspect of life. Its been a positive thing for Christian, and a positive thing for the family - certainly the Christian aspect. And if people can be introduced to Christ through other means than a church, then I think its an awesome opportunity. Colleen, mother of 12 year old Black belt, Christian and 14 year old Purple belt, Christine
Heres this 16 or 17 year old kid and heres me, you know, old enough to be his father, and hes showing me ultimate respect. I mean, hes a Black Belt and I am just a newbie and hes treating me with such respect, Im going, Wow, this is a neat atmosphere!. Jarrod, student and father of 13 year old Brown belt, Jameson, 9 year old, Aspen and 6 year old, Jackson
What really sold us on it was the fact that there was some spiritual background to go with it. Ive seen other kids in other schools and theyre probably taught pretty good, but it seemed like they didnt get the extra background of spiritualness in it. Wayne, father of 17 year old Brown belt, Ashley
She likes the fact that it is Martial Arts with a Message - from a Christian perspective. Thats very important to both of our children. Its a good program because of the Christian influence, but also its a good life-skills training class for any child. Kathy, mother of 10 year old Blue belt, Nora
They have just gained so much from this so much confidence, especially. Some maturity and respect - its been great. They listen better. Its like what we teach at home gets reinforced here with somebody other than mom & dad that they really respect. Deanna, mother of 8 & 10 year old Brown belts, Erik & Iver
I really like the Christian side of it, where he not just has to come to class and do Chi-Tu Do, but he has stuff at home. He has to do character traits, and there is a little bit of character building in him at home that we can help him with as parents, and partner with you, but then I know it is getting reinforced here. And I know he has been challenged to memorize scripture, and the Beatitudes, and it has been just been great to have that extra element of parenting him. Joan, mother of 12 year old Brown belt, Matthew and 14 year old Purple belt, Tracy
The character traits, the emphasis on who we are and what we are actually here for is very important probably more important than being able to punch somebody. But we are learning self-defense here as well and in this day and age we need that as well. But character is far more important and God wants us to develop character that is reflective of His Son, and this is a good place to do that. Keith, student
The fact that he has what he has (ADD/ADHD), we wanted him to be able to control it, and martial arts is one way that he can control it and still be active at the same time. He now can concentrate a lot better, and he has learned that he can concentrate, and he doesnt take as many meds now as he did before. His meds have been cut. Bonnie, mother of 11 year old Blue belt, Eric

How will they behave? How will they respond to your authority? How will they spend their time? How is their relationship with God? Are they noticeably better or worse (or the same) than they are today?
We are so sure that our program will benefit your children (or yourself) that I will make you an offer you cant pass up. If after 12 months of training you can truly say that you or your child have not experienced the benefits our school has to offer or that you dont feel that the program is worth the investment, I will give you 100% of your money back. You have nothing to lose!
You might be wondering, Why 12 months? Cant they do it faster than that? Well, you might see some changes within weeks or even within two or three months, but for those changes to become lasting changes ones that will help them develop their character, students need to train for at least 12 months. And with nothing to lose, you have everything to gain in coming in to try out the program.
