The Butte 4-C's is a resource and referral (R&R) agency dedicated and committed to linking together families, child care providers, and community businesses. Our office is located in the historical district of uptown Butte, Montana. The Butte 4-C's serves a six county area in southwest Montana to include: Silver Bow, Beaverhead, Deer Lodge, Granite, Madison, and Powell.
Assistance to families includes linking them to quality child care through community referrals; providing consumer education materials and counseling; helping families apply for the Best Beginnings Scholarship program; and providing information on quality child care standards.
Our services for child care providers include assisting them with starting and operating their child care business; providing educational opportunities; providing technical assistance; mailing monthly and quarterly newsletters; providing advocacy; providing information on Best Beginnings Quality Programs; and loaning materials from our resource library.
The Butte 4-C's is also a USDA Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) sponsor. Their mission is to influence healthy lifestyle choices by facilitating program participation and compliance, funding nutritious meals and providing effective training.
