Richard Parks literally wrote the book on fishing in Yellowstone National Park, one of them anyway. Click above for more information.
Welcome to the Parks' Fly Shop Website. We look forward to helping you fly fish Yellowstone Park and southwest Montana. We are located in Gardiner, Montana, within sight of the Yellowstone River and a quarter-mile from the North Entrance of Yellowstone National Park. All the prime water within the Park, the blue-ribbon portion of the Yellowstone River, and the Paradise Valley spring creeks are within an easy drive of our front door, making us the most centrally-located fly shop and outfitter in the region. We also run the Gardiner Guesthouse, a small, family-run bed and breakfast around the corner, making it possible for us to offer affordable and convenient lodging as well as guide trips, custom flies, and expert advice.
The rivers and lakes of the Yellowstone region have been our obsession since 1953. Our philosophy of focusing narrowly on our home waters rather than trying to cast a wide net guides every facet of our business. We stock only rods, tackle, and flies useful within 50 miles of our door, and we designed and tie around half the fly patterns we stock, a far higher percentage than most shops. Our guides only work in the Yellowstone, lower Madison, and upper Missouri River drainages and in Yellowstone National Park, giving them
unparalleled knowledge of nearby rivers and lakes, both famous and unknown. We would love to introduce you to some of these waters.
Give us a call to book a trip or check on river conditions. Everyone in the shop is a fishing fanatic and is either guiding or fishing almost every day, so we can give you up-to-the-minute information.

Headlines (Upd. Nov 7)
1. The Yellowstone Park season has now closed until next May. Walter Wiese closed out the season with a 21.5" brown on the Gardner. Not a bad way to see off the year.
