Carina Russell, ASID professional for 20 years and co-owner of Rocky Mountain Design-Interiors was elected President of the Intermountain western chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID). This chapter represents the states of Montana, Wyoming, Idaho and Utah. Her involvement keeps her on top of the latest trends in western, rustic, traditional, old-world and contemporary styles. Her term will run from 2008 through October 2009.
The American Society of Interior Designers, founded in 1975, is the oldest, largest and leading professional organization for interior designers. ASID professional members must pass stringent acceptance standards consisting of accredited design education, work experience, and pass a two-day accreditation examination overseen by the National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ).
Carina has been a member of ASID for 20 years. She is on the advisory board and has lectured for the College of Technology Interior Design program at Montana State University. Carina and her husband, John, have owned Rocky Mountain Design Interiors for 30 years.
