My Sisters and Brothers in Christ:
Thank you for taking the time to learn about the Cathedral Parish of St. Helena and also about the Mother church for the Diocese of Helena in Montana. If you are a visitor to this site from throughout our Diocese, we welcome you to your Cathedral church. If you are from beyond the borders of our Diocese, we greet you as our sister or brother in the Lord and in the unity of the Holy Spirit.
The Parish numbers some 1700 households and, as you will discover, seeks to answer the call of the Lord to better know and serve Him, and one another, with sacrificial love. If our Parish were to have a motto, I think it could easily be stated as, All in the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen! That places quite a challenge before us each day to grow in wisdom and stature before the Lord, but we believe in Christs loving mercy and sincerely try to minister as instruments of His peace. That is our hope, and the prayer we ask of you for us so that, together, we may journey as pilgrims of Faith into eternal life and behold, with joy, the Face of God and the Communion of the Faithful.
May God continue to bless and keep you this and every day. May Mary, the Mother of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, watch over you. May St. Helena, whose own journey of Faith led her to the true Cross of Christ, help you to find in the Cross a share in its Victory and a way to live its Truth!
Sincerely yours in Christ,
